A little bit about me
Through my joy for interior design and home fashion I have been creating eye catching abstract art for over 20 years. On purchasing my first property and wanting to adorn my walls with stand out art, I noticed I took a dislike of the art produced by the large retailers . Mass produced printed Art that appeared in homes across the globe. Unfortunately my budget would not stretch to the individual paintings I had seen. Most of my friends and family had art from the large blue and yellow store with great meatballs , but I wanted something different that made a statement .
I began by producing my own unique art to fill the void on my walls, room by room.
It was not long before friends and family requested my original art and then through word of mouth the interest in my work grew. From providing unique pieces for a number of show home sites for local and national house builders, to hotels and lobby areas and offices. The uniqueness of my work aims to keep abreast with home décor trends and stay affordable to all.
As well as the website I have recently moved over to the social platforms and receiving commissions via Instagram contacts ,and via this website and my stall at St Albans market where its really nice to meet people in person.
2020 had mostly been about online as the impossibility of the world closing down for business had meant no public showing of my work.
A house move from Bedfordshire to Hertfordshire had put DIY and painting of walls my top priority.
Now the house is complete I have had more time to produce unique artwork for my clients and enjoy nothing more than seeing the smiles on their faces at the completed works.

Style
Abstract is my first and foremost love and I use many tones to express my thoughts on the canvas. A mixture of acrylics and texture with subtle greys whites and beiges being my signature style, with a splash of colours to suit. Although always learning and taking feedback from clients I like trying new styles and formats for my paintings. Purely self taught , but years of painting have certainly enhanced my brain to challenge the norm to produce eye catching and popular art.
You dream it and I will do it with your own unique choosing of colour palette to match your deco.
Over recent years noticing the worlds consumption and throw away attitude. Adam has become more self conscious of his own behaviours.
Over the last 18 months wondering how he can reduce his own effect on consumption Adam has consciously upcycled old paintings and canvasses to great effect. This is in addition to his art that he can not obtain in the blank canvas he requires. All upcycled art is noted on his pieces with (ucA).
Why should a blank canvas be purchased from a supplier when there are literally thousands of unwanted unloved unfashionable paintings out there that can be repurposed into new pieces. Adding new life and purpose to various canvas has only increased Adams love of art, seeing an old piece disappear to be reborn as something new for another generation to enjoy in a responsibly sourced way.
